product details
Corrosion-resistant cast aluminum villa gates are built on high-density cast aluminum-magnesium panels and a reinforced aluminum alloy frame. The solid cast structure carries premium hardware, and because the alloy does not rust the way ordinary steel does, a gate that faces salt air, monsoon rain and strong UV keeps both its appearance and its security after years of service. An anti-pry multi-point locking system protects the entrance, while the double-leaf layout, heavy-duty adjustable bearing hinges and hydraulic closer keep a wide villa driveway easy to use every day. The finish is polyester powder coating or multi-layer fluorocarbon baking, both selected for UV, salt spray and fade resistance. Typical installations are luxury villas, upscale residences, private gardens and commercial compounds, where a gate has to look elegant and still perform like a security product.

Why Cast Aluminum Gates Resist Coastal Corrosion
Aluminum-magnesium alloy does not contain iron, so it cannot rust the way a steel gate does. Instead, the surface forms a thin, stable oxide layer that protects the metal underneath, which is why cast aluminum courtyard gates are the usual choice for villas on the coast, near a lagoon or in a region with a long rainy season. What still has to be specified carefully is the coating: the alloy resists corrosion, but a thin or badly cured paint film will chalk and fade in strong UV. For coastal projects we recommend a multi-layer fluorocarbon finish, which holds colour far longer than a single-coat paint, with stainless or hot-dip galvanized hardware so that hinges and locks do not become the weak point of an otherwise maintenance-free gate.
Specifying Heavy-Duty Aluminum Courtyard Gates
Courtyard gates are made to the opening, not bought off a shelf, so the specification work happens before production starts. Standard production covers gate leaves from 2200 mm to 2800 mm high and driveways from 1500 mm to 3200 mm wide, in double-leaf configuration; other sizes are quoted on request. Three points decide how the finished gate will feel in daily use: the hinge set, which must be rated for the weight of a solid cast leaf; the locking system, where a multi-point lock with an anti-pry bolt pattern is the version we build for villa entrances; and the ground works, because a cast aluminum leaf is heavy and needs a properly prepared foundation. Finish, colour, panel relief, glass inserts and lock type are all part of the custom options, and OEM or ODM drawings are accepted.
Cast Aluminum vs Zinc Alloy Courtyard Gates
Both materials are used for high-end villa entrances, and the better choice depends on the project rather than on price alone.
| Point | Cast Aluminum | Zinc Alloy |
| Weight | Lighter for the same leaf size | Heavier, denser panels |
| Coastal use | Preferred: alloy does not rust | Suitable with correct coating and hardware |
| Design detail | Fine, deep cast relief on large panels | Sharp edges, more solid feel |
| Typical project | Wide villa driveways, coastal compounds | Prestige entrances, city villas |
If the gate is wide, if the site is near the sea, or if the leaf has to carry a lot of decorative detail, cast aluminum is usually the safer specification. If the priority is a heavy, monumental entrance in a city location, zinc alloy is often the better match. We build both, so the recommendation we send with your quotation is based on your opening size, the local climate and the finish you want.
Documents to Request With Your Quotation
Before a courtyard gate order is confirmed, ask for the documents that let you check the goods against the specification: a dimensioned drawing of the gate and frame for your approval, the material and coating specification, the hardware list with lock and hinge models, the packing method, and photographs of the finished gate and the loaded container before shipment. A certificate of origin is issued for customs, and test or inspection documents are supplied on request through the third-party inspection body you appoint.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are cast aluminum gates suitable for coastal villas?
Yes. Cast aluminum-magnesium alloy cannot rust, which makes it the usual specification for villas near the sea or in a humid climate. Specify a multi-layer fluorocarbon or good powder-coated finish and corrosion-resistant hardware, and the gate needs only routine cleaning.
What is the largest courtyard gate you can produce?
Standard production covers leaves 2200–2800 mm high and openings 1500–3200 mm wide in double-leaf form. Larger or non-standard openings are engineered individually, so send the clear opening dimensions and we will confirm what is feasible.
How are courtyard gates packed for sea freight?
Each gate is wrapped in EPE foam and packed in a carton, with the frame and hardware packed separately; special packing can be arranged for long sea routes or for projects that need extra protection at the site.
What are the delivery time and payment terms?
Production is 20–25 days after the 30% deposit is received, with the 70% balance due before shipment by T/T. Full export documents are prepared for the destination port.
